EV Charger & Smart Home Installations
Install, configure, and commission EV chargers for residential and commercial clients.
Troubleshoot and repair EV chargers as needed.
Install and integrate smart home devices such as energy management systems, home automation controls, and connected appliances.
Educate clients on the operation and benefits of EV chargers and smart home devices.
Ensure compliance with all electrical standards and manufacturer guidelines.
Client Aftercare & Support
Conduct post-installation check-ins and client education on system functionality.
Offer guidance on optimizing energy efficiency and system performance.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.
Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify potential system improvements.
CRM & Documentation Management
Manage service tickets within the CRM system, ensuring timely updates and resolutions.
Document all service calls, warranty work, and client interactions accurately.
Maintain detailed records of repairs, installations, and system diagnostics.
Track and follow up on outstanding service requests to ensure completion.
Generate service reports and provide insights for process improvements.
Technical & Compliance
Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Stay updated on the latest technology and industry advancements in solar, battery storage, EV charging, and smart home solutions.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and quality assurance protocols.
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with the operations, sales, and installation teams to provide feedback and insights from the field.
Assist in training junior electricians or technicians where required.
Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers for technical support and warranty claims.
Provide clear communication with clients regarding service timelines, work completed, and next steps.
Key Qualifications & Expectations
Licensed Electrician (Essential).
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical work, preferably within the solar or renewable energy sector (preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate).
Experience in diagnosing and repairing solar PV systems, battery storage systems, EV chargers, and smart home integrations (Preferred).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a client-first approach.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring all service work is completed to the highest standards.
Experience using CRM systems to manage service tickets and document work (Preferred).
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for service calls.
