Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect potential commercial clients through market research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Develop and present tailored solar energy proposals that align with clients’ energy needs, goals, and budget.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments in collaboration with technical teams to ensure accurate system designs and cost estimates.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business owners, facility managers, and decision-makers.
  • Negotiate contracts, close deals, and manage the sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, incentives, and regulatory changes to provide clients with accurate and relevant information.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including design and installation, to ensure a seamless transition from sales to project execution.
  • Provide exceptional post-sale support to address client inquiries and maintain long-term relationships.

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven track record in commercial sales, preferably in solar energy or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of solar energy systems, financing options, and government incentives for commercial projects.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
