Supervise and support a team of technicians and apprentices to complete solar installations effectively.
Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to develop team skills and knowledge.
Foster a strong safety culture by enforcing safe work practices and conducting toolbox talks on a regular basis, such as weekly or as required by site conditions.
Ensure team members adhere to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Installation & Technical Oversight
Oversee and participate in the installation of solar PV systems, battery storage, and EV chargers.
Ensure all installations meet relevant electrical and safety standards.
Conduct site assessments and troubleshoot technical issues as required.
Liaise with the Installation Manager, clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Quality Control & Compliance
Perform quality checks on completed installations and address any defects or issues.
Ensure accurate documentation, including job reports, system commissioning, and compliance certificates.
Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure correct materials are delivered to site.
Client Interaction & Communication
Act as the primary point of contact on-site for clients, addressing concerns and providing updates.
Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth scheduling and project delivery.
Provide guidance and information to clients on system operation and maintenance.
Administrative & Documentation Responsibilities
Update job management applications to ensure accurate tracking of project progress and completion.
Complete all relevant documentation required for claiming rebates and compliance with industry regulations.
Maintain thorough records of installations, service reports, and quality assurance documentation.
